yest was 1 of my craziest nite. i wen for my paper 'scream' party. bef tt i wen for medical checkup 1st. i spotted tt my paper is goin to hav a party n they hav invited some of e singers who sang some of my fav songs. so i send a msg, requestin for tickets n i got them. so i invited sandy along since i feel tt she is more suitable to acc mi than e others. i spend alot of time waitin for my turn for e checkup, if i wasn't waitin n waitin, i woud hav reach harbour front earlier than sandy.
den we wen to ta pao burger king bef takin e tram to sentosa fr vivo city. we reach cafe del mar @ ard 6.30pm. stil early n we wait until 7pm bef they let us in. e party din start until 8 sth. we spend time bein taken pics, takin pics n chattin. i din expect to be able to stand in front where i get a full view of e stage. my 1st time bein able to stand so near.
e hosts had warm up 1st bef startin e entire performance. one of e hosts ia daniel ong fr 987fm. i din noe he can speak chinese. den he speak chinese, i was so shocked. his chinese is not v gd but passable. 1st appearance is by a percussion grp n they really warm up e entire crowd. i was movin e beat, e percussion is loud n i really enjoyed it. in e middle of their performance, a fire thrower appear infront of e performers bef e stage. e fire he blew out is really big n hot. e 1st time we din expect it n he surprised us when he blew out e fire. it was quite hot n i even hav e kerosene splashin on mi. e girls in front of mi r lk escaping fr it n blockin mi fr takin pics of him. so angry!! keep on pushin back. i finally managed to take a few great shots. den we had a local band, tabular. they got cute guys!! e lead singer's singin is not bad n i really lk it when they sang the killers 'mr. brightside'
aft tt jonathan leong appeared. he look better in real life. when i saw him on tv, he din look so nice. quite a nice guy. aft tt we had beat boxers n break dancers. i tink e beat boxers were more entertainin than e break dancers. e break dancers beat out several entertainin tunes tt everybody is familiar wif.
den we had real or ah qin. he look nicer than on tv. so cute!! he had deep jiu wo. he oso beat out several songs tt e crowd lk n we jus sang along wif him. quite entertainin. i cant say tt i lk him v much but i lk e songs. he belted out Qi Shi Hai Ai Ni, Ji De Ai n Guang Rong Shi Ke n i lk ji de ai esp. dj xiao zhu even joke wif ah qin sayin tt daniel ong is here to help ah qin to sing e other male singer part. cuz in ji de ai, ah qin sang a duet wif li jiu ze. daniel was quite shocked, sayin his chinese is not so gd. daniel even test ah qin by askin ah qin to intro his album n his fav songs in e album in english. haha. luckily ah qin stil can understand but he ans in chinese. too bad he was not playin his guitar, i tink i wud lk tt much better.
den we had su da lv or soda green. 1 of their band member was unable to come. their 1st song is Wo De Wei Lai Bu Shi Meng, originally sang by Zhang Yu Shen. i tot it wud b a slow num but it wen to a fast beat n everybody jus wen high. den they oso belt out songs tt i nvr heard bef lk Oh Oh Oh Oh n Xiao Yu Zou but r quite nice. they were v entertainin n i hav this feelin tt they really wan e crowd to enjoy their songs. they even use e mouth piano n loud speaker to create diff tunes to e song. lastly they belted out Xiao Qing Ge n everybody was singin along n even when e lead singer named wu qing feng flubbed a bit @ e lyrics, we jus help him sing. he is oso quite talented cuz their keyboard person is not ard n e lead singer jus play e keyboard.
lastly we had gary cao ge. his 1st song immed stir e whole crowd. He sang San Qi Er Shi Yi, Bei Pan n Superman. e moment he belt out his 1st time, everyone jus wen high n jus sing along too. he is quite gd lokin too though some ppl say he is not gd lookin. he speak v gd english too but is expected cuz he study in new zealand. den he even wen down to e crowd n shake hands wif e 1st row ppl. i wanted to shake his hand but was blocked by e same girl in front of mi. i shd b able to shake his hand but she block mi wif her banner. argh!! so angry!!
@ e v last, they ask all e performers up to e stage agn n i jus take all their pics. i entire nite is jus enjoyin e songs n takin pics. quite satisfied. e whole ting end @ 10.30pm lk tt. n bef we left, we wen to collect our photos. bef e party starts, sony ericsson ppl were takin pics of everybody. @ 1st 1 girl took our pic. den another guy took our pic. he was nicer cuz he explain tt we can take our pic fr e booth. turn out they onli got 1 photo printed out.
by e time we reached beach stn, it was alr 10.45pm lk tt. mi n sandy realised tt oth our throats feel constricted n it stayed lk tt quite long. even when we we k, my throat wil onli b lk tt for a little while. i tink its cuz of e dry ice tt make our throat lk tt. my voice sound a pitch higher. we tok e train hom n i reach home @ 12.10am. i enjoyed e party v much. nxt time i wan to go such parties agn.
